Welcome to the Didcot and District Dog Training Website

We provide a range of classes for you and your dog, with support and advice from our well qualified members. Visit our Courses page and contact US for further information.

To see some of our dogs and members in action, why not have a look at our Photo Album page.

As well as providing friendly, professional training courses, our club raises money for dog-related charities. In the past we have collected enough to pay for the training of a dog for “Hearing Dogs for Deaf People” and the Cinnamon Trust for the training of Rescue dogs.

The Charity to support is decided each year by the club at the AGM.

The club holds several events throughout the year, such as sponsored walks, a Christmas party for the dogs as well as a fun dog show to raise funds for the village church.

The club meets every Sunday evening at Steventon Village hall.

All dogs start in the beginner class and undertake eight weeks training at a cost of £25 plus a £6 membership fee.

After the eight week period the cost of each class is £2.00 per week.

All puppies must have had all inoculations. Older dogs must have current inoculations. Current Inoculation Certificates must be produced at enrolment. This ensures that all dogs attending the Club are safe to mix with other dogs and people.

Please do not bring your bitch, if in season, to the club or any dog that is unwell, especially if it is coughing or has a stomach upset.

This is for the protection of all dogs attending classes.
