German Lops

Some years ago I started to keep a small stud of German Lops. Currently I am concentrating on orange and orange butterfly although as they have been bred down from my original agouti buck Dylan and Rocky my agouti butterfly, I occasionally get both the sooty and agouti colour in litters.

I have found  the German Lops rewarding to breed from,  the does are very reliable and make great Mums.  They seem to breed true to type, have great colour and coat density and the butterfly pattern is well established.

Several of my German Lops are now living as much loved House rabbits. They  make ideal pets as they are of a good size (about the size of the average cat) and have placid yet playful natures.
