Drain run towards rear of garden.

The trench for the pond pipework has been dug out with the proposed site of the pond visible towards the top right hand side of the picture. The filters will be positioned on the site of the 'old' pond which will shortly be drained. As this pond is constructed of concrete block it is hope that this will make an ideal site to install the filters and associated pipework.

In this shot the old pond can be seen. Some 45 feet of trench will be dug out to accomodate the pipework. This includes two 4" drains, two 1" airlines plus six 2" returns.

The trench will be dug out to a depth of 4ft to ensure a good purge action will be obtained from the drains, something essential in pipe runs of this length.
