Each month the coaches will choose one player from each team involved in the Pumas programmes.
We make decisions based on the player's enthusiasm, attitude, committment and team spirit both on and off the court.
February 2001 |
Under 16 National League: Daniel Foster
Daniel's continued improvement in his scoring stats along with his dedication and commitment on defence have made him a valued competitor on court. His consistent efforts are commendable and his drive to succeed seems to grow stronger each day. A valuable role model for younger players.
Under 16 County League: Duncan Hamilton
This is the second time Duncan has achieved this award. He is able to carry out instructions quickly while his communication on court is developing rapidly as he leads the team on defence. He is always willing to learn and is a fine up-and-coming player. Good job, Duncan.
Under 14 Passerelle: Max
Max is a new member of the squad this year. His fierce competitiveness on-court and his will to win have added another dimension to the team. If he continues in this vein, he looks set to have a successful season.
Under 14 County: Henry Beardshaw
Henry is also a new member of the squad and has settled in very quickly. His willingness to learn and his ambition to succeed make him a valuable member of the team.
Pumas Girls: Anna Dalton
At the beginning of the season, the girls were set a target of 90 skips per minute. She has now reached 133 - that's just 7 away from the National League standard. Anna is steadily gaining quiet confidence as her skills are rapidly developing. She is a committed team player who is always ready to learn. Keep up the hard work, Anna.
Under 12: Chris Bowman
Chris competed in a 3 on 3 tournament this month, and did his team and himself proud. His hard work at all sessions has earned him this award. With a little belief in himself this player could go far.
