By the second day the weather had improved, as shown by the view from our chalet window. It stayed sunny for the rest of the week.

The first day of our skiing holiday gave alot of fresh snow, but made skiing difficult. Plan B, was to go sledging with Abbie, which was great fun!

Oct: Heading up Cairngorm mountain on the new Funicular. The views were spectacular, and we all enjoyed our lunch at the mountaintop restaurant. (Only three weeks later the whole place was burried under snow drifts!)

Oct: A trip to visit Winkie. Here we're all enjoying roasting Marshmallows over a bon fire in Winkie's back garden.

Sep: No it's not a Halloween rehearsal, believe it or not. Darran decides to go to an 80s disco as Robert Smith, but ends up looking more like Marylin Manson.

Sep: Abbie and her first proper bike (pink of course).

Sep: This is what happens when you let your brother experiment on you with face paints.

Aug: One tired little bridesmaid.

Aug: After the ceremony Joel handed out cups of flower petals for the guests to throw.

Aug: At Katy (Jen's cousin) and Davids' wedding Joel was an Usher and Abbie a bridesmaid.

Aug: A day trip to Ayesgarth Falls in Wensleydale.

Jul: Later on during our stay in France we visited an old friend and his family. In the picture are Max, Fenella, Joel, Abbie and Olivia. Here Abbie demonstrates how quoits should be played.

Jul: Abbie and her cousin Elodie, enjoying a story with their Grandad Nat. Here they're pictured in the holiday home we all stayed in in France. A good time was had by all.

Jul: Abbie's very first skiing lesson, she did very well, and says she wants to give it another try.

Apr: Celebrating Mum's birthday, and we're all off for a walk down by the river.

Apr: Third day, Mam Tor. Overcast, chilly and windy. A real pity since the views from Castleton ridge would have been worth seeing. Here Darran demonstrates how to make a wind sock from a pair of Bob's Y-fronts.

Apr: Second day saw us all strolling the gardens of Chatsworth. Here Jen discusses the imagined size of her evening jacket potato, obviously.

Apr: This years annual walking holiday was in Derbyshire. We were based at this lovely place, North Lees Hall, near Hathersage. We all enjoyed three days of walking, and it didn't rain once!
