CONNECTING CHRIsTIANS TOGETHER
About:
X-alt is not about a Christian band,   X-alt is a time of praise and worship organised by like minded Christians that are seeking to "connect Christians together for Christ" within High Wycombe and the surrounding district.

Throughout X-alt events we are constantly trying to build cross denominational bridges, hopefully seeing the Christian community coming together for praise, worship and more importantly, co-operation in community based projects which display to the world a Christian oneness and wholeness that is often lacking.

We have been going for five years now and the response to X-alt continues to be encouraging, God has always, and continues, to bless our times together, and we have been fortunate to have found support for X-alt from many local ministers and speakers, as well as such guest speakers as Dr Mark Stibbe, Rev Paul Bayes, Mike Fuller, Eric Delve, Andy Economides and others.

The open format of most meetings is that we have a time of worship, a short talk - from a selection of guest speakers who have committed to talk at these meetings, and then to continue with a time of prayer and ministry, leaving time for worship at the end should time permit. To finish the evening we always have a time for refreshments and fellowship.

The response to X-alt is encouraging, and we have supported such events as The Holmer Green Churches together praise held in the park, and other local Christian celebrations. As  you can see from the calendar page we still have slots available for 2009 and would always encourage you to enquire if you have any event requirements that we may be able to help with.

Because we believe that God wants to see a renewed sense of community within His Church we feel that it is important to encourage church members from all denominations to this time of praise and worship, and also to be actively involved. To that end we are constantly seeking new venues within the High Wycombe and surrounding area.

If you need further information on how you could either support, help or indeed host  an X-alt event at your place of worship then please do see the “contacts” page for how to get in touch.
