Prayers of the Saints

From Revelation 5 v8b. The scene is in heaven and 24 elders are worshipping God.

'Each one had a harp and they were holding a golden bowl full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.'

The harp is in the background. The green is emerald with which heaven is often associated. The incenses burner has people's lives coming out of it. The way we conduct our lives as well as our prayers are our offering to God. We are the saints who pray now, causing incense to be released in heaven, long before we see it ourselves.
