I have tried to capture the awesomeness and pain of those left behind of the moment, the stepping into freedom that Beth now has following her brave fight with cancer aged just 12. I was inspired by the song written into the curtain - how both Beth and we are ‘Welcomed in to the courts of the King, I’ve been ushered in to His presence, here I stand on Your merciful ground, yet with every step tread with reverence ... and I’ll fall facedown as Your Glory shines around.’ (song by Matt Redman)
