MATCH REPORT- GWALIA V HARPISTS.

Won the toss for a change and decided to have a bat. I unfortunately ran out Mr Wagstaff which I do apologise for. Managed to hold off the two opening bowlers. We were 42 off ten overs which was not good news but once i was bowled out the lads who came in after me made the difference. Between them they scored just under a 100 off the last 10 overs which gave us one of the highest scores to date for 20 overs. So we finished up with a creditable 140 off 20 overs. I decided before the match started that everyone would bowl 2 overs each so the pressure was on everyone to perform under the new captaincy. The bowling off every single one of our players was exceptional and the fielding was one of the best fielding I've seen since playing for the harpists. I would like to thank all the lads who played tonight for a very outstanding performance in every aspect of the match. You have set the standard lads, WELL DONE.
