| Military Medal | Gallanry award for Private soldiers or junior NCO's |
| France & Germany Star | Campaign Medal issued to those who served in France,Belgium,Netherlands or Germany from 06th June 1944 to 8 May 1945 |
| Burma Star | Service in the Burma Campaign from 11th December 1941 |
| Italy Star | Operational Service in Italy,Greece,Sicily,Yugoslavia,the Aegean any time between 11th June 1943 and 8 May 1945 |
| Africa Star | Operational Service in N.Africa from 10 June 1940 to 12 May 1943 |
| 1939-45 Star | Awarded to personnel serving 6 months in specified operational commads overseas.Between September 3rd 1939 and Augusy 1945. Any service curtailed by death,injury or capture also qualified. |
| 1939-45 War Medal | All fulltime service personnel serving at least 28 days between 3 September 1939 and September 1945. |
| Defence Medal | Awarded to service personnel for three years home service or 6 months service overseas in territories subject to air attack or otherwise threatened |
