Just to show I'm aware that Land rovers aren't the only car on the planet I thought I'd let you take a peek at some of my previous projects...having lived in the country as a child I was fortunate enough to have space for larger than average toys!

The collection started with a P reg. Mini Pickup which knocked bout on the land for years before being renovated in order to MOT and get the number plate off. (Cherrished number). It would have been worth a tidy sum these days as they are quite collectable. I sold it to a milkman In order to pay for the restoration of my first V.W. Beetle one of five I've had if I've counted right.
The Commer Van was bought as a Non runner (not road legal anyway) purely for me and my mates to camp in over the holidays up the fields and what a novelty it was. I spent many happy hours refitting bunks and sinks and gave it a lick of paint. My Dad finally scrapped it a couple of years ago.
My first Beetle was unbeknown to me a collectable item again. A V.W. G.T. Beetle which has 1600 cc engine and Limited Slip diff. Not to be mistaken for the Jeans Beetle which had a Denim interior. This Beetle got me hooked and several years on I was chopping up wrecks to build custom Beetles as pictured. This was based on a Wizard Roadster Kit however the Suicide doors Flip front and removable rear end which gave total engine access were all my own doing. The car was bought as a rolling shell and didn't even have pedals or gear stick. It was a steep expensive learning curve!. The Beetle was sold eventually and for a while I've been running around in rather unexciting cars until Reggie the V8 Range rover jump started my Land rover bug. I've been the owner of  Land rover since 1995 in one form or another and I've yet to get really carried away like I did on the Beetle, although I can't see me fitting any Suicide doors just yet I think Percy (See project page) is the tip of the Iceberg.
