TPADS is a Stage Society based (as its name suggests) in the village of Thringstone in North West Leicestershire. It is a non-profit making organisation which exists to provide entertainment to the local community. Starting as a 'Pantomime' Society (see below), the group went on to produce plays and comedy revues, and, in recent years, 'hollywood-type' musicals.
We do not profess to be a musical or choral society in the 'traditional' sense - our repertoire is much broader but we do put in a lot of hard work and (we are told) put on excellent shows which are great fun to do, and which our local audiences appreciate greatly! Our 'main' show is a traditional comedy pantomime which we stage every January and which is usually a sell-out.
For example, our January 2000 Pantomime was 'Mother Goose'.
Not only was this the first pantomime of the 'New Millennium'
but it also marked the 25th Anniversary of the Society.

of our other shows, click on 'Show Buttons' in the box above. The
group also stages a show in May usually a musical or a
musical revue, but sometimes a comedy play.
2002...2002...2002
Our 2002 Pantomime will be 'HANSEL & GRETEL'. This particular pantomime has not been performed by the Society before, and so it should be interesting for cast and audiences alike! It will run from 17th to 26th January 2002 - tickets are on sale NOW, and demand for some performances is already very high, so, as always, BOOK EARLY to avoid disappointment. For more details/prices etc. you can email tpads@aljoy.co.uk. To check availability for a specific date and/or to request tickets, contact our Booking Officer directly on 01530 460373.
TICKETS ARE SELLING FAST - THE MATINEE PERFORMANCES ARE ALREADY SOLD OUT AND SOME EVENINGS ARE ALSO NEARLY FULLY BOOKED . . . . . . SO IF YOU WANT TO SEE 'HANSEL & GRETEL' BOOK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
Our Spring 2002 musical will be that great show 'Guys and Dolls' - watch out for more details on this site.
