Doubles Methods Calling
Bob Doubles calling a 120
Isle Of Man (just a way of remembering it)
In Out Make the Bob.
Choose a bell, say the number three (3) bell.
Recap a plain course
3/4 down -- Long 5ths --- 3/4 up --- 2nd's
That's all:
Before you think about calling, you must know when to say "that's all".
If you were ringing the 3 you know you start by running out to the back, then run in, lead, and make 2nds.
If you have learned the sequence of work for Bob Doubles then you will know that before 2nds you would have done 3/4 up.
So That's all will be called just before you do your 3/4 up .... but after you done the Bobs.
Bobs:
In Out Make the Bob... There are Three Bobs.
Its doesn't matter which working bell you ring you can still call this.
In:
When you are about to do your 3/4 down dodge call Bob at 4th place and run In
You will the do 3/4 down dodge next time.
Out:
Keep with the order of work until you are about to make 2nd's and call Bob at your backstroke lead.
Run out and do 2nd's next time.
Make the Bob:
When your about to do your 3/4 dodge up, call Bob in 3rd's place and make 2 blows in 4ths place, run in and do long 5th's next time.
That's All:
Call that's all when you would do you 3/4 down dodge in 4ths place.
Note:
If you had chosen to call from the 4th bell, the "That's all" comes right after your last Bob.
You would call Bob in 3rd's place going up and then at your first 4th place call That's All.
It's just a bit different calling Bob and then That's All almost immediately.
