Market Place Antiques is a family-run business based in the historic market town of Cockermouth. The birthplace of Wordsworth, Cockermouth is situated on the fringe of the Lake District in Cumbria.

We stock a select range of antiques including clocks, pictures, ornamental pieces and occasional furniture. Our particular interest is in original fireplaces, any age, from the Georgian period through to the early Twentieth Century. At any one time we have a variety of styles and sizes available, including cast iron arched and tiled inserts, dog grates, registry fireplaces, overmantles and slate, or timber fire surrounds.
