I have taken it upon myself to redesign the whole site, lock stock & several smoking barrels. The old site served its purpose but I have tired of it.
I have moved on in many ways from when I was using one of the earlier design packages. The old web site reflected on a past period long since forgotten by me. There have been so many developments in the last five years and that is why I decided they should be reflected in the new design.
Yes, there are those of you that may well design for a living. No doubt I should be using this and that to make the site all singing and dancing to work on your super WAP enabled phones etc, but not everyone has that same inclination.
The reasoning behind the site remains the same - a place of nostalgia. No doubt some of the more distant members of our historical group use it to get in touch with others. I know some of you have availed yourselves of my established tried and trusted connections.
I have many of your contact details, so, if I can help in any way, all you have to do is ask. I will forward information to folk via the email addresses I currently hold but I cannot pass to you, personal details of individuals who have specifically chosen to be evasive. It's up to all individuals to respond to you as, when and if they wish.
So I have taken the plunge to bring everything across from the old site and I have attempted to make it look cleaner and not so dated.
It's still early days. Viewers may well find errors - grammatical or spellings. It is extremely time consuming working on a complete makeover. So if you are a returning visitor, please drop me a line and those of you that are new to the site, welcome. Any input is always valid.
It's very cut down at the moment so bear with me.
The Blog is updated more frequently and keeps you up to date on wher and what I am doing anywhere in the world.
The static info pages are going up well at the moment. The galleries have a new flavour and new ideas take time to process so please bear with me. I think it will be worth the wait.
The Gallery link is something I threw together for this years gig, just to keep you entertained.
