Basic Framer Script

This script was written to resize then add frames and mattes to photo's mainly for web use. It also can add copyright info, a title, and exif info from the photo.

This script is designed for, and will only run on English language versions of Photoshop CS or CS2, either PC or Mac.

Installation

If you are updating from version 1.09 or below then please delete the folder Mikes Framer and its contents, usually located:

Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Scripts

If you are updating from version 1.10 of the script there is no need to delete the Mikes Framer folder.

Copy the files "Mikes Framer.js" and "Mikes Framer Batch.js" into Photoshops Scripts folder, usually located: Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Presets\Scripts Run the script from Photoshop menu Files>Scripts The first time it is run it will create a folder in the users home directory called Mikes Framer. Inside this will be stored the defaults for the framer script. You can overwrite this at a later date to create your own default settings. You can also create your own setups to be used from within the framer script.
