Accommodation

Ideal for Anglers, Birdwatchers, Walkers and Bibliophiles, the cottage is available for spring, summer, autumn and winter lets including Xmas and Hogmanay.

Weekends and part weeks may be available on request.

The cottage offers basic accommodation, there is no central heating but electric radiators and blown air heaters are provided and a real fire can be lit in the Lounge.

Coal for the fire is provided and electricity is charged at cost.

The surrounding area offers sailing, horse riding, golf, game, fresh water and sea fishing, bird watching and hill walking as well as unspoilt beaches and the magnificent scenery of Glen Trool.

There are good shopping facilities in Wigtown and in nearby (6 miles) Newton Stewart.

The cottage is fully furnished with a ‘sun-trap’ back yard which is ideal for sunbathing and Bar B Q’s.

Visitors will need to bring their own pillow cases, sheets, duvet covers, towels and tea-towels.
