Pilchard when we first bought him...rusty, leaky,mouldy interior...but we loved him!

We originally bought a '74 Dormobile thinking that it wouldnt be too long to get it decent...how wrong we were! It never got started. Shortly before a friend had bought one for his girlfriend and we went to see it one evening. There sat the Camper - Who - Would - Be - Pilchard. Rusty with no MOT and a mouldy interior. I climbed into the front seat and played at driving and something told me that one day he would be mine. A few months later we were offered him for £200, we collected him and went straight to have him MOT'd, he failed on a few silly things and we had to replace the oil cooler but a few weeks later he was street legal.

After finding where the leaks were on the 2000 London to Brighton run we decided it was time for Pilchards face lift.
