This is something of a departure for Pie Powder Press - a book not with an historical theme but a volume of verse, albeit with a local flavour!

Barbara Poskitt has lived in Cholsey, Oxfordshire, for 50 years. Most of her time has been devoted to her husband Brian, her cats and her beloved garden. She has been writing verse since she was ten, much of which has been published in newspapers and magazines, often accompanied by her own charming drawings.

This is a collection of her poems and illustrations, both witty and thoughtful.
