Scrimshaw
Edgar Scrimshaw a relation through my mothers, Clover family line was the local Castrator around the Spilsby, Old Bolingbroke area of Lincolnshire.
He would go around the farms doing his deed with the young livestock and it is reported by one of the living Clover relatives that he never used a knife, instead preferring to use his teeth, as it reduced infection. He would often be seen with blood down him and in his beard.
Dawson
Zena Dawson, I believe that was her name was murdered during an attempted robbery in the Trusthorpe, Sutton on Sea area of Lincolnshire.
If anyone has any other details i would be glad to hear.
