| As a result of
the current security alert status in the USA and Britain, you may find
that links to base or unit websites have been taken off line to prevent
them becoming targets.
Those of us who enjoy
the freedom to venture forth to an airbase to watch the proceedings will
have noticed a much heightened security state in place, with many of the
spotters haunts closed. This hasn't totally precluded our watching
activities, but the general attitude has to be:

be sensible and open in
both attitude and behaviour

do not go where you are
not allowed
-
if you are challenged
by Civil or Military Police comply with their instructions

if you see anything which
could be of concern report it
I am aware of several
links on this website which are affected as a result of this, and sadly
this is totally beyond my control. However, there always remains
the possibility that the link may be broken for another reason, as not
all military sites have gone off the air, so if you do come across one
that is down, please still let me know, and earn the gratitude of an overworked
underpaid web site maintainer.
