A personal view

The carnival procession made its way from Hill Rise, via Ramsey Road (where these photos were taken) and The Waits to Warners Park. Even Harry Potter had a float (see left)!
At Warners Park, there was a funfair, with plenty of stalls and an attractive programme of displays, including those shown below.


Sheepdog demonstration. The dogs are herding the geese between the two rows of children!

Display by an Irish dancing school.
On left: martial arts. All this took place on the Saturday afternoon, then on the Sunday there was a music festival with bands playing from 12 noon to 9 pm.
