Projects:
From The Other Side
These stories and songs "arise" from the churchyard in the village of Monknash in South Wales. It is a collection of stories with songs and music based on a local family, its characters and the strange things that happened to them. The stories have been meticulously researched from sources in the local area and the truth within them makes them all the more fascinating. This show was premiered in Brisbane, Australia in September 2003 at the Australian National Storytelling Festival.
One Last Dance
"One Last Dance" is a one hour show which involves music, song, and narrative not a musical, as such, nor indeed a play, more a synthesis of Storytelling and "Living History". The story begins in Gelligroes Mill in the Sirhowy Valley of South Wales, with a young man named Artie Moore and his home made radio receiver and ends with the sinking of the Titanic thousands of miles away. Artie and some other characters we meet, made history that night in more ways than one.
"A finely woven mixtur of interesting stories, original songs and hard facts; presented with style and authority" Andy Jackson, Director of Miskin at Easter Festival.
A Tale of Two Rivers
The show tells of the coal mining communities of South Wales and how they kept alive their traditions in work and play when many left to try their luck in the coalfields of Pennsylvania, USA. 'A Tale of Two Rivers' is a larger scale musical/storytelling project involving a story, song, music and dance. In its full scale production it is ideally suited to theatres and larger festivals. A version is also available for small venues.

Stories from Wales
A selection from Eirwen's wide repertoire of stories from Wales including some with Phil's much acclaimed musical accompaniment. Eirwen has always had an interest in promoting the Welsh language and is able to perform in either English or Welsh. Together they have developed a unique style of bilingual storytelling that does not provide translation but allows non-Welsh speaking audiences to fully appreciate stories told in Welsh.

The Mabinogion are epic tales that form Wales oldest and most treasured literary tradition. Eirwen and Phil have devised a new telling of this tale complete with new incidental music specially composed by Phil. This show received its first performance at the Three Rivers Storytelling Festival in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA in August 2004 and was one of the highlights of the festival.
Story and Song
Phil and Eirwen also have a repertoire of songs and tunes and can tailor a performance of songs with some stories more suitable for folk audiences.
