Grading: Since grading is entirely subjective,and different systems are used by different people, any grading is purely a matter of opinion. Coins for sale are graded here by price alone.

General guide to postage and payment: for orders over £30, insured special delivery postage (or signed-for international airmail) is £5. Under £30, first class recorded delivery is £2, and first class post is 50p. Payment may be made by Sterling cheque, postal order or cash. Cheques, etc. should be made payable to Philip McDonald. Overseas customers may pay by PayPal or money order, but please add 5% to cover charges.

SCRAP GOLD AND SILVER: Today I will buy fine gold at a minimum of £16.00 per gram (£497.60 per troy ounce), which works out at £6.00 per gram for 9 carat gold (£186.60 per troy ounce). Silver is a minimum of £7.00per fine ounce (£6.47 per troy ounce Sterling).
