BURIAL GROUND CHARGES
BURIAL FEES
The
fees, payments and sums set out below apply where the person to be interred or
in respect of whom the right is granted is, or immediately before his or her
death, or admittance to a Nursing/Residential Home prior to his or her death
was, an inhabitant or Parishioner of the Parish of Pinxton or, in the case of a
still born child, where one of the parents is or at the time of the interment
was, such an inhabitant or Parishioner.
In all other cases, the fees, payments, and sums will be trebled, except
Part 4. Those set out in Part 1 will not
be trebled where the exclusive right of burial in the grave in question was
acquired at the single fee set out below in Part 3.
The fees set out below to be effective from 1st
April 2009
PART 1 – INTERMENTS (EXCLUDING ALL CHARGES FOR LABOUR)
For any interment (in graves for
which no exclusive right of burial has been
granted) or for any interment after
the first (in graves or vaults for which
the exclusive right of burial has
been granted) of the body of:

exceed one month, provided it does not
take up a plot in the main

PART 2 – GRAVE DIGGING
Grave digging to be the
responsibility of the Funeral Director.
PART 3 – EXCLUSIVE RIGHT OF BURIAL IN EARTHEN GRAVES
For the exclusive right of burial for
a period of 75 years including the first interment in an earthen grave, 9 feet
by 4 feet £162
