CBLIS Conferences
Every two years the CBLIS Group organises an international conference lasting three or four days. The venue for these conferences varies from one country to another - for example, the United Kingdom, Austria, The Netherlands, the Czech Republic, and so on. The 'live' conferences are intended to enable CBLIS members to meet 'face-to-face' in order to discuss and debate important and interesting issues relating to computer-based learning.
As well as the live conferences, CBLIS also produces a prestigous conference proceedings that contains written copies of the formal papers that are presented at a particular conference. These books act as useful state-of-the-art reference works relating to current activity in computer-based learning within a wide range of academic disciplines.
In addition to the formal, academic programme, each conference also has a very stimulating 'social programme' that enables delegates to relax and talk together in informal, pleasant surroundings. Of course, the social programme is also designed in a way that enables conference delegates to learn more about the culture of the countries that host the CBLIS conferences.
