based in the norfolk and suffolk area they have no shelter but rely on foster homes for there cats. the web site is very good with lots to see. I liked the poem page the best some really sad poems about animals. They have pics on the site of some of there cats, a newsletter, some funny cat quotes and so much more.
This sanctuary was formed 90 years ago and is and independent self reliant charity that cares for dogs cats and other small animals. They have a 24 hour helpline number and pictures of pets you can adopt. Theirs also a page on ideas and how you can help them. Swindon animal sanctuary appeal These people do not have a sanctuary yet but re-home animals using foster homes until someone wants the pet. You can put a picture of your pet on their site for a small donation. good idea. They are also looking for old pc's. This site is about a lady who has loads of animals no one wants. cats dogs sheep goats horses and more she uses a lot of her own money to look after them but needs your help so please visit and see how you can help. This is a very good site with pictures of animals looking for a new home. Mostly cats and dogs but they have also mice, rabbits and guinea pigs at their animal shelter. They also have some resident animals (goats, sheep, donkeys, cows, pigs and old dogs) and ask for donations to help pay for food for them. This is where I walk the dogs with my dad. A very sad name for an animal sanctuary, but a very nice sanctuary with a good web site, They do a "sponsor a pet", "buy a life", they have lists of cats and dogs up for adoption, a wish list which includes pet food, newspapers, pens, nails all things that don't cost much. They are also advertising for helpers at the sanctuary. This site takes a while to load but well worth the wait. It is one of the biggest dog rescue sanctuaries in the uk. When I was on the site they had 400 dogs for looking for homes. They have loads of pictures of the dogs that need a home and these are updated every two weeks. Theirs a "doghouse club" you can join, a news and events page, an appeal for items they could sell in their charity shops and a pet burial service.
