You have reached my personal area of the Depth of Field site, where I get to show of some of the better and more dubious work I have done over the years!

For me, photography has always been a pleasurable pastime. I started taking pictures about 25 years ago, borrowing my Father's small 35mm camera - an Olympus I recall. These days I use Nikon 35mm equipment as backup to Nikon 35mm digital and Bronica medium format kit.

These days I find I spend a lot of time on the computer scanning and perfecting my images - as I do taking pictures. I enjoy creation of the final image as a digital file or a print, as you can't always get the best out of a situation with the limitations of film - a little digital post-processing can work wonders.

I prefer using manipulation programs as a creative tool to improve my images, and am not one who uses it as a creation tool in itself, although Ihave montaged some images to good effect.
