Jan and David are both members of the Iona Community, and recent visitors to
Palestine and Israel with the Ecumenical Accompaniment
Programme in Palestine and Israel. Jan was editor for the
Overseas Divn. and Vice Pres of Conference, before becoming
Warden of the Iona Community.
Martin John Nicholls
of Christian Aid, will give an up to date presentation.
Rev Barbara A Calvert
will lead worship and prayers through the week-end.
Student Guests from M.I.H. Bristol
Will make their own personal contributions.
The Conference commences at 6.30 p.m. on Friday evening, with introductions followed by Supper, and concludes at about 3.00 p.m. on Sunday. Detailed programmes, and directions for travel, will be sent in the Autumn. Early reservations are encouraged, particularly if specific rooms are requested.
In view of regulations imposed by the Sidholme Hotel, fees cannot be refunded following late cancellation. People attending may therefore wish to take out appropriate insurance to cover this eventuality. The Post-Office offers a simple policy.
All are invited – membership of M.W.M. is not a requirement !
