Children & Young People

Marple Methodist Church has a vibrant and thriving youth section. On a Sunday, during the morning service, the children and young people have their own groups divided up by age:

• Primary & Beginners for 3 - 7 year olds,
• Juniors for 7 to 11 year olds and
• Young People for those older than 11 (note: age ranges are for guidance only).

There is also a creche for the under 3s.

The older groups (Juniors up) usually join with the adults for all age worship and split off into their own sessions after about 20 minutes. Services suitable for all ages are arranged about every month where everyone worships together.

A number of the young people are in the worship band. They usually practice on Sunday mornings and help to lead worship when requested.
