VISITOR NEEDED FOR AN 89 YEAR OLD MAN The visiting team at St Chad’s Church in Romiley, who are part of the Redeeming our Communities Care scheme, have been approached by Age UK Stockport about providing a regular visitor for an 89 year old man who is lonely. As he lives in Marple, they have in turn approached us to see if we can find someone suitable. If you think you might be able to help, please have a word with Margaret (427 2509). You don’t have to be a pastoral visitor, just someone who can spare maybe an hour a week to chat with a lonely person.
