7am, after an hour driving, Mark and I (Phil) stopped at Stafford Service station for a coffee, just as Mark's power steering pipe split and dumped fluid on his exhaust manifold, the smoke looked dramatic.
Its only just getting light!!!!!

Next stop Corby services, just outside Birmingham to meet Bobby, Tanya (Bobby's wife) and Adam.

What a GTE line up!!!

At the Greasy spool meeting place at J14 off the M1,   we meet up with Clive, Glenn, Dave and Alan (RAZ).
I forgot to take pictures, check out Dave's site as he taken some good ones.

Mark had a chance to do a bit restoration on his baby.  The petrol tank decided to make rainbows on the wet  road.  Everyone rallied around to help, I even lent him my dodgy jack.

Miserable weather driving home, crawling through Birmingham.  Mark was still losing petrol but we both got home without any problems.

Despite the bad weather and we missed the only vehicles going up the strip, I think it was a good day out......talking GTEs all day.
