Rosie movies

Hi I'm Rosie. I was born on 18th February 2007 and I live in Cambridge, UK. I have big blue eyes and curly brown hair. Three days a week I go to nursery, and on the days that I don't Mummy often meets up with her twin sister and I play with my cousins Charlie and Millie. On the weekends Mummy and Daddy sometimes like to take me swimming. I love dancing, singing, painting, animals and other children and babies. You can see what I get up to on this webpage, and on my page of movie clips.

5th February. Mummy and her friend Ruth were doing experiments building bridges out of chocolate in preparation for The Big Bang Science Festival that Mummy's going to help out with. Fiona and I helped too. I tested the plank and box bridges made from curly-wurlys, while Fiona demonstrated the dairy milk bridges.

18th January. We had a weekend away at Centerparcs. We stayed in a little cottage in the woods and could see ducks, geese and a heron from our window. We did lots of swimming in the big pool (I especially liked the pool that went outside, and we got rained on!), and we did bowling (see picture), and ate in some restaurants too. On Sunday I went to the Bumblebees play group while Mummy had a massage. I got to dress up as Snow White all morning that day and do craft with the helpers.

10th January. I went to my friends Madeline and Olivia's birthday party this afternoon. The dressing up theme was fairies and I enjoyed the ribbon dancing especially.

3rd January. We went on an early morning adventure to Snettisham to watch the geese and waders at dawn high tide. Due to the snowy roads we arrived about half an hour after sunrise so missed most of the geese, but still saw lots of birds on the mud as the tide went out, and Mummy saw snow buntings for the first time. Daddy brought a thermos of hot chocolate for us all to share, which we needed as it didn't get above freezing all day even though it was lovely and sunny. On the way back to the car we all saw a barn owl flying really close, and Daddy took this picture of it! We then went to Norfolk Lavender for a visit, where I played on the swings before lunch, and then Mummy and I slept all the way home.

26th December. I had such fun at Granny and Grandad's house that I was sad to go home (but this picture shows my new cat hat). However, after a nap in the car driving home we stopped off at El and Tim's to see Charlie and Millie's new toys and have some tea with them, which was really nice too.

25th December. We started our Christmas morning opening our stockings on Mummy and Daddy's bed. I was really pleased that Father Christmas brought me the Snow White that I'd been wishing for. Daddy seemed happy with his scarf too. When all the presents were unwrapped we played with them for a bit before getting dressed and going down for breakfast.....

....I found that Father Christmas had eaten his mince pie and sherry, and the Rudolph had eaten his carrot and reindeer food I left out for them. Lots of presents had also appeared under the Christmas tree. I was happy to help Mummy and Daddy open their presents, as well as my own!....

....When all the presents were unwrapped, we drove over to Granny and Grandad's house for Christmas dinner. Auntie Claudia was there too. We all had fun eating yummy food, and playing games (including pass the parcel), and watching telly. I liked playing with Granny's toys including the doll Father Christmas, and we played pretending to fill up people's stockings. We all stayed overnight too.

24th December. The day for me to star as Mary in the church Christingle service Nativity has finally come, and here are the pictures of me being Mary and my baby doll being Jesus, and we were both really good (check out the little movie too). Merry Christmas to all my friends and family!!!
