Movies of Rosie in the garden in May 2009. In the first one Rosie climbs up her new climber and goes down the slide. Rosie then wanders over from inspecting the tomatoes and sings Baa Baa Black Sheep. In the final movie, which is a bit longer, she goes in from the garden and heads to the front room the play with her dolls house (she hears Sarah, next door's dog barking). She settles down to play and narrates what's going on, from the dolls being put to bed, to them waking up for some cake and breakfast.

A movie montage of Rosie's toddlerhood set to Headlong by Queen.

One fine day in April 2009 we decided to bike to Cherry Hinton Hall to have a teddy bears picnic, and invited El, Charlie and Millie along too. Here is a movie of Rosie and Millie playing row row row your boat, and then Rosie sings See-Saw Marjorie Daw to Millie. The second movie is the same day, at the park's playground, and Rosie and El are on the see-saw while Millie watches them while lying on a rug babbling, and Charlie plays on a rocking tractor. El and Rosie sing songs too.

In the middle of March 2009 we had some fine weather so here are a couple of movies of Rosie playing outside. In the first one she is playing on her Iggle Piggle bike, getting the hang of climbing on and off, and pushing herself along with her feet, but she soon becomes distracted and wants to see the movie Mummy's making instead! In the second movie Rosie has gone to play in her Wendy house, and peeks out of the windows before doing some pretend cooking, making some pancakes.

On 20th February Rosie had a little birthday party with her cousin Charlie and her best friend from nursery, Hugo. In this movie Rosie and Hugo are having great fun chasing each other through the house with the dolls buggy and blocks trolley, much to the amusement of Hugo's mum.

Christmas movies, here is Rosie saying Merry Christmas in Waitrose, and playing with her new dolls buggy on Christmas Day.

16th December  2008 was the Kreepy Krawlies soft play Christmas party, which Rosie and Charlie went to. Here they are playing on the see-saw together very nicely, while El sings the accompaniment.

A couple of videos from our holiday in Marks Tey in July 2008. The first is Rosie on the swing seat with Granny and Daddy, playing with the windmill she got at the seaside at Clacton. The second is Rosie and Daddy walking together at Poplar nurseries garden centre in Marks Tey. The third video is from a movie of Rosie playing in the play castle with Grandad in the garden, this clip is when Rosie climbs out of the castle and gives Grandad a little kiss. You might like to compare Rosie in these clips to the movie of her on the same swing seat with Granny and Grandad  in August 2007 - see further down on this page.

Rosie visited the Science Museum in London on 1st July. In the basement there was an exhibition (the 'garden') designed for little people. Rosie enjoyed exploring, and then played with the water flowing exhibition.

At Cressing Temple Barns for a Viking Show, Rosie and Alban share a kiss.

Rosie and Charlie are playing in Charlie's cot. Rosie is bouncing like Charlie's mouse on a spring, and then dances to the musical box. However, Charlie starts to get a bit stressy when Rosie gets a bit too close for comfort.

Rosie and Charlie playing nicely with Charlie's toy garage in early June 2008, plus Charlie does some crayoning. Compare this movie to the Rosie and Charlie playing together movies from August and September 2007, nine months ago.

Rosie goes for an explore with Daddy when he takes the family out for morning tea at Wests cafe on the West Cambridge site near his work. When Daddy and Rosie return to where Mummy is sitting, Rosie gives a lovely big smile for the camera!

Rosie has suddenly decided that she is a toddler, not a baby and is now walking most of the time rather than crawling. Here is Rosie walking confidently aged about 15 months old (13th May 2008).

Rosie's first walking captured on camera on 21st April 2008. Here she is exploring in Mummy and Daddy's room before her bath (hence she's only wearing a nappy). The clip is prematurely cut short once Rosie finds the box of tissues...

Rosie playing getting in and out of the ball pool 14th April 2008.

Rosie with her walker in the garden on the 1st March 2008. This is her first exploration outside in our garden.

Rosie is bemused by the electrostatic attraction of a slightly deflated helium balloon that Daddy rubbed against her head, but Mummy and Daddy think it's hilarious.

In March when Rosie went over to play at Charlie's house, the tots were crawling from the kitchen to the front room, almost like racing each other.

Rosie with her walker aged one. This is the day before her birthday, when she'd just learnt how to walk with a walker, but Daddy is needed for the steering!

In August and September 2007 after Phil went back to work, Rosie would go and play at Charlie's house, and Auntie El would look after her until Rosie went to nursery all three days that Phil worked. Here are a couple of clips that El took of Rosie and Charlie during those Wednesdays.

During the 2007 August Bank holiday Rosie and Mummy visited Granny and Grandad for several days, enjoying several pleasant sunny days. Here is Rosie with Granny and Grandad in their garden.

In July 2007 Charlie and El came round and El made this movie of Charlie, but Rosie wanted her share of the limelight too! Rosie is about 5 months old and Charlie is about 4 months old.

Rosie shares a cuddle with her Nana who came to stay while Mummy was on maternity leave. This clip is from early July 2007 when Rosie was about 4 and a half months old.
