Nest Box 2008

This year the camera in the nest box broke, so no pictures of eggs or chicks hatching this year I'm afraid. However, the great tits are back again this year and have been raising a family, who have been vocally cheeping for a few weeks. I kept thinking they'd gone this past week, but they hadn't. Today the chicks first peeped out the nest box so I knew that today might be the day....

Rosie went to play in the Wendy house while I kept an eye on the great tits in the nest box. Lots of birds came to join us including starlings, sparrows and a jackdaw.
