On 10 March 2006 the Welwyn Hatfield & East Herts AI Group, in association with the AI Youth Group at Monks Walk School, Welwyn Garden City, held a Human Rights Conference for 6th form students of 3 local schools.   One of the activities in the workshop sessions of the conference asked the students to "Imagine a world without violence against women" and to write their "Imaginings" on pieces of fabric to be attached to a banner.   Subsequently a member of the Welwyn Hatfield group has stitched the pieces together, with the words of the request.   The attached picture shows some of the members of the Monks Walk Scholl AI Group holding the completed banner.   It is now hung in a prominent place in the 6th form Common Room at their schgool to continue to raise the subject with future generation os 6th form students.
