Bernwode Amnesty Group: Who are we?
Location
Bernwode Amnesty Group has been campaigning
on behalf of Amnesty International UK since
1993. It is based in the Aylesbury Vale district
of West Buckinghamshire in the area roughly
bounded by Bicester in the north, Aylesbury
in the east and Thame in the south. The area
includes the parishes of Brill, Ashendon,
Ludgershall, Wotton Underwood, Boarstall,
Chilton, Dorton, Ickford, Oakley, Shabbington
and Worminghall.

Meetings
Our meetings are held on the second Monday
of every month (except August) in various
members' houses or Brill Memorial Hall Library.
Activities
Our activities are typical of an AI regional
group. We are involved with various current
AI campaigns and causes as well as organising
our own awareness-raising events in the locality.
Current campaigns include:

- Stop Violence against Women
- Death penalty
- North Andean RAN
