Grind the spices. Put everything into the blender and whack it. De-joint the chicken. Bend it along the back bone and cut the breasts off. Slash the wings, breasts and legs deeply and rub in the jerk mixture. Put it in a shallow bowl and leave it in the fridge to marinate for a day or two, turning and basting a couple of times. Cook on the barbecue. Great with barbecued potato wedges!
