OK, it doesn't sound Irish but its my mother's recipe and she's Irish so by default so's the recipe.
Ingredients
2 baguettes 6 cloves of garlic half pound of butter half cup of olive oil good bunch of parsley freshly ground pepper
Method
Partly cut the baguettes into slices, taking care not to cut through the base of the loaf. Whack the other ingredients in a food processor. Butter the slices on each side. Wrap in aluminium foil and bake in a medium oven for about 20 minutes.
