The Ipswich local group has been active for many years. We have around 600 members of the RSPB in Ipswich and of these, some 200 are members of the Local Group. The members range in experience from those who are just starting to enjoy bird watching to those who are experts and have been watching birds for many years.
There is no need to be concerned if you lack knowledge of birds, you will find that the friendly approach of the members will be able to help you to learn. The meetings will open your eyes to the many facets of wild life both in this country and abroad.
We hold outdoor events, excursions, walks and indoor meetings.
The activities of our group are shown in more detail in the programme.
More information on the Ipswich Local Members' Group may be obtained by e-mailing us.
