Advent 2008
Sunday was Advent Sunday, when we begin to prepare for Christmas, and
so Barry lit the first of the four Advent Candles.
We also started our AquaBox
appeal.
AquaBox is a Rotary initiative. The standard AQUABOX comprises a rigid plastic container and
has a single filter and enough purification tablets to provide 1100
litres of clean drinking water. The box will also contain items which
are useful in an emergency; these will be provided by the congregation,
co-ordinated by the list on the clip-board. The congregation will also
donate the cash (£50) to purchase the box. Do feel free to
donate, either at one of our services, or via Barry at 103, Bedford
Road.
