Harringay Racers finally running out winners after beating Panthers and Brighton Tigers in the last two games. In the National Tournament competition Chick Zamick equalled Sandy Archers seven year old record by scoring 4+4 to total 8 points against Wembley Lions at Wembley, 22/11/47. Panthers and Greyhounds only completed eleven games. This was due to Panthers being stranded in Paris by a rail strike. Since the match would have no bearing on the final standings the BIHA decided to waive the game.
