| Some fans didn't take to Jeff, but
personally I thought pretty highly of him. He was comfortably |
| Panthers highest scoring defenceman during his
first season and if some of his fellow forwards had |
| been more inclined to cover for him on his forward
forays, I think those doubters would have been |
| more impressed. He didn't return,
reportedly having been offered
twice the salary by Revier Lowen |
| in Germany. |
| He reappeared via
Germany, Sheffield, Manchester, Italy & Germany again, eight seasons after his |
| initial
stay for 2005/06 season. As the only dedicated right sided defenceman on
the roster Jeff |
| was an ever present and
iced every other shift.
Once again his performances met with a mixed |
| reception, but the defence wasn't one of
Panthers problems in 05/06. His
attacking forays were |
| limited though owing to the limited number of the defensive corps |
