| Trevor Robins "The Robber" arrived at the start of season 1996/97, to become
the first import goalie employed by the Panthers since the reformation. Trevor produced
displays in his first season that at times had to be seen to be believed. His level of
performance and consistency made him one of the top keepers in the league, which now
boasted a number of top class netminders. During his second season Robins maintained his
high standard until he suffered what was probably Panthers most crucial injury of the
season and he missed about ten games he would normally have played in if fit. He moved on
at the end of 98/99, becoming Panthers first wage cap victim, when Austrian side EHC
Villach outbid the Panthers only to have their offer bettered by the London Knights. |
