Brent came from Superleague rivals Cardiff
Devils after finding himself surplus to requirement at the end of 98/99.
Not very quick and with no shot to speak of, Brent was a stay at home
defenceman and turned in many gritty defensive displays. After a brief
spell in 2000/01 covering for injury at the London Knights he went back
to North America.
He was re-signed for 2001/02 season having spent the
intervening period mainly with the Tallahassee Tiger Sharks (GP39, G0,
A6, P81) & Florida Everblades (GP36, G0, A6, P59) in the ECHL His
re-appearnce was generally disappointing as his form seemed to desert him
in mid season, after which he made a number of mistakes which led to
goals.
He wasn't re-signed for 2002/03 and moved to Solihul MK Kings in the
BNL. |
