| Chris followed long time friend
Alex Dampier to Panthers somewhat belatedly. He had previously spent 11 years patrolling
Murrayfields' blue line. He went on to do a similar job for the Panthers. When he joined
Panthers he had already been reclassified as "British" and because of the import
restrictions at the time was a doubly valuable asset. Chris was a strong skating, rugged
individual who played a valuable role for Panthers during his short stay. During his
second season he was injured while playing for G.B and missed a large number of games.
When Alex left, Chris wasn't long in following him to the Steelers. |
