| Without doubt Panthers star player of
2000/01, PC virtually carried Panthers offensive threat on his own for most of the season.
Not overly physical, but highly skilled, PC ended his first season only 7 points away from
the league top scorer mantle. His second season was something of a disappointment.
Although his points return was on a par with 00/01 and once again he was just 7 points
short of the top scorer, he wasn't the stand-out player of the previous year and his
frustration seemed to get the better of him at times. Panthers had an option to re-sign
him for 02/03 and this they did prior to Panthers final game of 01/02. Unfortunately for
the Panthers, he had a clause in his contract which enabled him to leave should a higher
profile side be interested and he went to Augsburg Panthers in the DEL. |
| He re-appeared as a Panther in mid-May
of 2007 for 07/08 season in the guise of player/assistant coach. He didn't
see the season out though, being released early in November, as Panthers
form against better opposition continued to disappoint. At the time though
he was averaging a point a game, far better than is line-mates. |
