The Church at The Slade was first founded in 1880. Our church family today has grown to well over two hundred adults, young people and children. Together we have discovered the riches of God's Word - the Bible, and the challenge and joy of being committed followers of Jesus Christ.
The Slade family is a lively and active church, whilst at the same time a loving Christian family that seeks to serve the local community. We are sure there is a spiritual home for you here.
Many people today are asking questions about life, spiritual reality and the relevance of Christianity and the Gospel. The teaching of the Bible in a relevant and understandable way is central to our church activities. It is our conviction that when God's Word is explained, God's voice is heard - and lives are changed!
