TREHERBERT & DISTRICT WI

meet at Treherbert Pensioners' Hall, on the second Monday of the month, at 7.00pm

One of the larger WIs, Treherbert has 67 members. They have a Drama Group, a Choir and a Craft section; also Bowls, Darts, Keep Fit, Entertainment, and Exercise and Dance. Entertainment has always been a major interest, and Treherbert has won the GFWI Eisteddfodau three times.They enjoy themselves, and are creative and enterprising. They always sing "Jerusalem" at their meetings, and sing one verse in Welsh.

 

 The Banner depicts Pen-pych, the only flat-topped mountain in the Northern Hemisphere.

It was made by Letty Vaughan and others from the Craft class.
