PEN-Y-FAI WI

meet at Church in Wales Primary School, on the third Monday of the month, at 7.30pm

Formed in 1985, this was the 100th WI in Glamorgan. There are 49 members. Although they have no Choir or Drama group, they usually perform at Christmas time, and sometimes take part in Eisteddfodau. Several members are attending computer classes. They are cheerful and friendly, they don't all make jam, but there are many globe-trotting members!

Following a successful application for Lottery funds, twenty-five members enjoyed a Heritage weekend at Denman

The Banner depicts the church, chapel and the pub in the village, and was made by members, completed in time for the service in Llandaff Cathedral in 1990.
